Personal Statement
The most consistent theme throughout my 15 years of experience in mental health is that you only have control over your own health, behavior and intentions. No one else but you. The whole you.
I believe that what we eat, how we behave, who we hang out with, where we work, what intentions we put out, what energy we consume, and how we feed our souls all play a vital role in our mental health. I do not believe that there is a one-size-fits-all approach to anyone's road to wellness.
My goal is to help you discover where in your life needs adjustments, change, support, education and encouragement. I'm also an advocate for developing values and beliefs, holding you to those values and helping you walk in them without hypocrisy. I take a philosophical path to help discover the true you.
I am an advocate for helping you find a more natural way to mental health. I am not against psychiatry or pharmacology - it may have its purpose and place in your treatment and with the proper referral you can find help through those avenues. However, if finding a more holistic approach to health is what you prefer, I will be your biggest supporter and educator.
